Agriculture and raising animals have a long tradition in Pinzgau. The Felben Family Hotel used to be a farm and part of the estate is still devoted to farming.
Both in the summer and during the winter we offer horse riding lessons on ‘Haflinger’ horses and ponies, in case of bad weather theses courses take place in the riding hall.
One highlight at the Felben Family Hotel is the fact that children can visit the animals anytime and can even stroke them at the petting zoo.
Horses and riding
The ponies and ‘Haflinger’ horses are very child-friendly and therefore the best horses for lessons with children. Your kids will learn how to approach a horse, how to handle it and last but not least how to ride it.
Petting zoo
There are several animals to see, observe and stroke on the farm and next to the playground. The animals can be visited and petted anytime. One of our most popular animals amongst our little guests is Kathi the pot-bellied pig. Your children will also be able to see goats, sheep, rabbits, pigs, horses and cows.
