The Scharler Family
The “Felbermeilinger estate” was bought by Balthasar Scharler in 1824 and has been in family possession ever since. Both then and now several generations of the family have worked side by side. Since March 2010 Petra and Christoph Scharler have run the Felben Family Hotel. On your holiday you will meet various other family members at the restaurant, at breakfast or in the massage area.

The history of the “Felbermeilinger estate” started with the arrival of the first guests from Vienna in 1958. 3 years before that a parlour for locals had already been established. Over the years more and more rooms at the farmer’s house have been converted to guest rooms. In 1989 the Scharler family managed to convert the 2 star hotel with restaurant to a 4 star hotel.
In 1992 the hotel was refurbished to become a children’s hotel. Since then we have constantly improved the offers and activities for children. Today the Felben Family Hotel has the highest award a children’s hotel can receive – 5 smileys.
