In the old times the toboggan was part of the work equipment, used to get the hay from the alps and mountains to the valley during the winter. Today tobogganing is purely a leisure activity and should be experienced at least once during every winter holiday.
The modern toboggans are little speedsters made of wood, metal or plastic and the main purpose is fun. There are more than enough toboggans available for everyone at the Felben Family Hotel! And off you go: The younger guests start at the hill next to the hotel, the more advanced will give it a go on the world’s longest floodlit toboggan run! Experience limitless toboggan fun on the 14 kilometres long run in the Wildkogel Ski Arena, only 15 minutes away from the Felben Family Hotel!
Dash down to the valley and leave an altitude of 1,300 metres behind you. In total the toboggan experience lasts about 30 to 50 minutes and every Tuesday and Friday the toboggan run is open until 10pm. The run starts and ends in Bramberg on the Wildkogel. Suitable tour-toboggans are available for free.
What young guests need for tobogganing:
