This data protection declaration covers the acquisition and use of personal data, that is obtained when, for example, you visit our homepage, make an enquiry, make a booking, purchase our services or when you phone us.
The kind of data collected and what it is used for at the Hotel Felben is described below. All other binding data protection guidelines that are included in or go beyond this notice remain unaffected. 

Which data do we collect?

The Hotel Felben gathers and uses your personal data in order to be able to send you tailor-made holiday offers, holiday bookings and/or information, that we feel could be of interest to you. Additionally we use automatically gathered data to measure the accuracy of online advertising.

Enquiry and booking/reservation:
Name, address, contact details and information such as the number of children travelling and holiday dates are gathered in order to make a suitable holiday offer or to reserve the appropriate rooms. 

Vouchers
In order to issue vouchers, we require the following information: Name, address, contact details of the person ordering the voucher. Credit card details must also be disclosed. This is carried out via our system provider BS PAYONE GmbH, Lyoner Straße 9, D-60528 Frankfurt/Main, www.bspayone.com that processes the payment for us. Neither paper nor electronic records of your credit card details are saved by us at the Hotel Felben.
Additionally, information used for market research purposes are gathered to help us make our service more effective. Furthermore, the Hotel Felben collects data about customer activity on our website. This data enables the Hotel Felben to identify which information is really useful to our guests and which sections of our website and which internet services are most interesting to our customers.   

Felben Post/newsletter
If you would like to receive our Hotel Felben newsletter “Felben Post”, we require your form of address (Mr. Mrs. etc.) name, e-mail address and information which enables us to check that you are the owner of the stated e-mail address and that you agree to us sending you the newsletter.
In order to ensure that the sending of the newsletter is consensual, we use the so-called “Double-Opt-In” procedure. As part of this process the potential recipient’s data is placed in a mailing list. Subsequently the recipient is given the opportunity to confirm the registration according to the legal requirements by means of a confirmation e-mail. Only after confirmation has taken place, does the address become active in the mailing list. This data is solely used for the purpose of sending the requested information and offers. The newsletter software “Newsletter2Go” is used for the sending of the newsletter. Your data is passed on to the company Newsletter2Go GmbH. Newsletter2Go is prohibited from selling your data and/or from using your data for any other purpose other than the sending of the Hotel Felben newsletter. Newsletter2Go is a certified German provider which was chosen in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations and Federal Data Protection Laws. The issued permission to save data and e-mail address and the use thereof to send the newsletter can be revoked at any time; by using the “de-subscribe” link in the newsletter. When does the Hotel Felben pass on personal data?

The Hotel Felben takes the protection of your personal data seriously. The Hotel Felben assures you that the Hotel Felben neither sells nor lends your contact information to other suppliers.
Your personal data is added to our Loyal Guest system in order to provide you with offers and vouchers in the form of “Felben Clover Leaves”. More details can be found below under the heading Loyal Guest System.
Under some circumstances your data may be passed on to another person or company. This procedure however, must be initiated by the guest. This could be to carry out an order made by a guest, in order to have external products sent directly to you or for external entertainment companies. Additionally, your data will be passed on when we are obliged to do so by Austrian law.

Loyal Guest section (Felben Clover Leaves)

This website uses KunLeiSys Guest-Club software (Loyal Guest). Our provider is GASTROpoint GmbH, Pommernstraße 17, 83395 Freilassing, Germany. KunLeiSys Guest-Club software provides a service that organises and administrates; offers, loyalty points, e-mail correspondence about events and the sending of newsletters. You can register to become a member of the Loyal Guest Club on our website. The data given in this process is only used for respective offers or services. Mandatory details required for registration must be provided by the user. If these are not given, registration will be refused. By registering you consent to your private data, provided at the time of registration, being used for the said purpose. (Art. 6 Paragraph. 1 lit. a DSGVO-Data Protection Regulations). This permission can be revoked, free of charge, at any time. You can do this by using the de-subscribe link. The personal data provided upon registering for the Loyal Guest Club will be stored by us until you de-register. In this case your Loyal Guest Club account is cancelled and your data is deleted from our server and that of the company GASTROpoint GmbH. You will be informed of important amendments such as a change in the range of services provided or necessary technical modifications by e-mail. For this purpose we use the e-mail address provided by you at the time of registration, or the e-mail address stated in your profile. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected. We have entered into a contract with GASTROpoint GmbH for contract data processing and by using the KunLeiSys Guest-Club software we can ensure that the strict requirements of the Data Protection Authorities are accurately met.
