We, the Scharler host family, possess extensive tourism expertise as well as ample experience with children. And within our hotel team, a familial and appreciative atmosphere is important too. That's why we fondly call our team “The Felben Family”. Its members support us daily and make our hotel a truly special place. And don't forget about the breathtaking region that surrounds us: We are talking about Mittersill, right in the heart of Salzburger Land. This area has shaped us for as long as we can remember, and we are truly proud of it. Therefore we strive to infuse our hotel with this typical rural, agricultural lifestyle we love so much and uphold the warm Austrian hospitality. We’ve been doing this already since 1958, when our first vacation guests arrived.

That's why our restaurant serves delicious dishes every day, which are tailored to family preferences, using primarily regional ingredients and with great attention to detail. If children want to play a little longer, we of course wait for them to be ready for the meal. However, if hunger strikes, we start right away.
Our children’s menu has been reviewed and optimised in collaboration with an expert from the "Excellent Children’s Food" initiative. According to a strict criteria catalog, the protein, carbohydrate, fat, and sugar content of the children’s menu items are carefully balanced. We also only offer lemonades and juices that contain little sugar at our juice bar. We therefore have also been awarded. In the evening, the hotel bar, the garden, or winter garden invite you to relax and wind down after a crammed day.
