Varied Weekly Program Exciting Activities for Children and Teenagers
Vacation time is adventure time. At least with us. Our colorful children's program at Hotel Felben proves it. Each week, it's freshly tailored to different age groups, offering a variety of experiences that leave no room for boredom. We ensure a wide range of themes, too. While some kids enjoy racing around on BMX bikes, competing in the softball arena, or building dams, others are captivated by our petting zoo, fully immersed in painting, or eagerly awaiting the next film at the children's cinema. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we rely on a trained team of caregivers at our hotel with a children's program in Salzburger Land—full of empathy, energy, and fresh ideas.

Sample program in detail
Monday
Rafting on the Mountain Lake: Together with our caregivers, we head out to the Felbertal and hike to Elisabeth Lake, a crystal-clear mountain lake in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Then it's time to hop on our raft. Don't worry, the lake may be cold, but it's only 80 cm deep, making it safe even for the youngest adventurers to join in. Afterward, we explore a nearby cave, where it's refreshingly cool even in the height of summer. A fantastic adventure for both young and old!
Tuesday
Crafting with Natural Materials: In this part of our diverse children's program at Hotel Felben, creativity knows no bounds. Using everything nature has to offer, children create wonderful artworks. These handmade crafts make perfect gifts for parents or grandparents or serve as beautiful souvenirs from their holiday. It's a fun and imaginative way to engage with nature!

Hay Harvest Like in Grandpa's Time: Who knows how farmers used to work in the fields? On a nearby meadow, the children – with support and supervision from our caregivers – can try mowing the grass with a scythe, just like in the old days. Afterward, the freshly cut grass is raked together and hung up to dry. Through this playful activity, the children learn how grass turns into hay, which will later be fed to the animals together. A fun and educational experience!
